Our VoIP applications

Ringr, an application which is India’s first made in India Peer 2 Peer VoIP application for personalizing and socializing VoIP calls. This is the product we introduced in 2015 for VoIP telecommunication services. We provide VoIP telephony with emphasis on high human call clarity, enhanced VoIP features and many more. We are also launching a new product called the Ringr VoIP in which you can brand your own VoIP application according to your own company Logo. We are designing our applications in order to completely support the Next generation telephony.

Ringr Personal Telephony

Ringr Personal Telephony is a term we introduced to emphasize the calls made within your known contacts. You can call to your loved ones anytime you want, just like making normal calls through your network provider. We provide you with high voice call clarity that are made over 2G, 3G, 4G and wifi without any disturbance. Ideal for anyone, who travels on business, Ringr gives you a personal number that follows you to everywhere in the world. Ringr Social Telephony

Ringr Social Telephony is the service we provide through the Ringr application, which we aim to make our customers socialize with the whole world. We have introduced a new feature called the “Public Room”, which makes your Ringr application a social telephony and also a platform for next generation telephony. You can express your interest to talk, to the person whom you think you can communicate by reading the likes and dislikes. You can find someone who thinks the way you think and express common interests.

Next Generation Telephony

The Next Generation Telephony is a platform based on the rate of data packet transmission. In the coming year communication will be simple and flexible, as we will only need a network provider and a VoIP application. There will be platforms which enables you to make free VoIP calls among various VoIP providers in near future. In anticipation of 2G,3G,4G and WiFi networks, our VoIP services will be able to implement Long Term Evolution upgrades into existing networks(LTE) ,enabling users to have a single network for voice and data respectively. With our VoIP technology various VoIP providers will be able to merge their calls with one another and thereby improving efficiency of VoIP calls.

What are the problems faced by the VoIP sector?

There are certain issues faced in the VoIP telecommunication sector. A Network provider usually does not provide a good infrastructure and because of the low quality bandwidth spectrum the VoIP calls are not usually clear and several calls gets dropped. In coming months the government would try to implement a better network infrastructure to provide a better internet facility all around India. This way telecommunication will be done too much through internet because of all the free calls we can make through VoIP apps. And the future for telecommunication will be forced to rely on VoIP applications for a long distance quality communication.

What will be the future of VoIP?

Since launching some 20 years ago, VoIP has become one of the most powerful and popular technologies of the 20th and 21st centuries. From business phones to social messaging apps with millions of users, VoIP has become an underlying technology that powers the way we connect with each other across the world.

VoIP is well used across the world today from popular apps such as Ringr with its next generation platform helping rural communities around the globe and reducing the costs for businesses to make long distance calls. With this growth in early years, VoIP traffic expanded from 1-3% of all voice calls in 1998-2002 to almost 65-70% till date, Moving forward by 2020 all voice calls is expected to be completely VoIP based telephony.

New Upcoming Innovations

The upcoming new feature in 2016 for Ringr an application for socialization is the public room calling system. We are trying to implement a new communication system in which we are only focusing on world wide telecommunication over internet.

Just like making new friends from a chatting application or from a social media, you can call anyone from the public room and can make new connections through your own voice.

This feature can only be accessed if the user wants to make his/her calling details public by accepting some terms in the public calling system. By doing this he/she can see all the users who have given permission to this service. The user can call any person available in the public calling system even if that person is not added in your contact list.

If any user is having problems with any callers, he/she can block that particular number for their own protection.

It also comes with a great call quality service and a much better connectivity for a better communication. We are expecting you to connect as much as you can to the whole world through your own voice with Ringr(Next Generation Telephony) an application for personalization and socialization.

Public Room

Ringr introduces you to a new calling system called the public room. Here we have implemented a new chatting system where instead of typing words users will be using their own voice for communication. Just like chatting to a complete stranger from a chatting application or from a social media, you can call anyone and can make new connections through your own voice. This feature can only be accessed if the user wants to make his/her calling details public by joining the public room system. By doing this he/she can see all the users who have given permission to this service. The user can call any person available in the public room system even if that person is not added in your contact list. If any user is having issues with any callers, he/she can block that particular number for their own privacy. So share, call and chat endlessly without any interference.

Ringr with user friendly Design

These days VoIP applications are more focused on chatting enabled features than telephonic calls over internet. So the UI based on these kinds of applications are less user friendly for VoIP calls. Like Wechat, Whatsapp, Hike etc are IM based applications, which have many chatting features like smilies and stickers, making these applications more complicated for users who want to have a quality telephonic communication.

While Ringr application provides users to access their contacts and make Ringr to Ringr VoIP calls in a single touch. This is the only application that has been focused only for telecommunication over internet and is made user friendly for any users who needs to have a proper telephonic conversation.

Net neutrality and TRAI rules in favor of it

Net neutrality (also network neutrality, Internet neutrality, or net equality) is the principle that Internet service providers and governments should treat all data on the Internet the same, not discriminating or charging differentially by user, content, site, platform, application, type of attached equipment, or mode of communication.

Anybody can start up a website, stream music or use social media with the same amount of data that they have purchased with a particular ISP. But in the absence of neutrality, your ISP might favor certain websites over others for which you might have to pay extra. Website A might load at a faster speed than Website B because your ISP has a deal with Website A that Website B cannot afford. It’s like your electricity company charging you extra for using the washing machine, television and microwave oven above and beyond what you are already paying.

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) ruled against differential pricing of internet services. It ruled that no service provider shall offer or charge discriminatory tariffs for data services offered based on content. TRAI added that a service provider may reduce tariff for providing emergency services or at times of any grave emergency. It remarked the same has to be reported to authority within seven working days. The TRAI says it will order service providers to withdraw such tariff and will penalize the service provider with Rs 50,000 for each day of contravention.

Voice over internet Protocol (VoIP) technology is driven by data-packets that are transferred across the web at high speeds from phone to phone. If there is a slower bandwidth you will experience a decrease in voice quality, less feature availability, more dropped calls, errors in metadata and Delayed actions. Since the net neutrality has been established, you won’t experience these kinds of problem anymore and you won’t have to pay any extra money for VoIP calls. In future all calls will be based on internet Telephony, so VoIP applications will be the future of telecommunications.
